This exhibition brings together plein air paintings created by eight Bay Area artists during their recent painting trip to Hope Valley and the Eastern Sierra of California.

Working outdoors in oil and watercolor, the artists responded directly to the changing light, weather, and open landscapes of the region, from golden aspens and quiet alpine meadows to rugged peaks and wide desert skies.

Each painting captures a moment observed on location, offering a fresh and personal view of the Sierra landscape. Together, the works reflect both the shared experience of the trip and the individual voice of each artist.
